On a day when the sun was eclipsed by the moon, a team comprised of a couple Sunbelt associates won 2nd place after shooting a round of 57 (-15) in the tournament at the Polo Golf and Country Club on August 21, 2017. They were ousted by another group with a winning score of 54 (-18). The highlight of the round came on Hole #13 when the team was able to record an albatross (double eagle) to gain 3 strokes.
The Georgia Recreation and Parks Association District 7 Golf Tournament is the District’s premier fundraising event designed to raise scholarship funds to help offset the cost for the District Members to grow professionally through continuing education seminars, annual conferences, and job-related training.
